At Drum Roll Charters we are proud to provide exceptional experiences and lasting memories aboard our boat! We strive to use our years of experience and our passion for fishing and being out on our beautiful crystal coast to give the best time for anglers and water enthusiasts alike!
We have roots that run deep in Eastern NC, coming from a long line of mariners from whalers and scouts out on Diamond City and Shackleford Banks, US Life Saving Servicemen, and United States Coast. At Drum Roll Charters when we say “It’s in our blood”, we mean it!
Our Crew
Capt. Travis Brown is a fully licensed and insured USCG Captain and Waterfowl Guide. If Capt. Travis got any saltier we’d have to haul him out and scrape the barnacles off of him! Very early in life he found a love for the outdoors and was on a fast track to building an incredible resume. He’s got over 20 years of professional experience commercial fishing and mating on sportfish boats and was also featured on several television productions including Nat Geo’s Wicked Tuna and Amazon Prime Original Series Yacht Stops!
Tyler Hudgins, our owner/founder, is a fully licensed and insured Waterfowl Guide. His love of fishing and all things saltwater spans all the way back to his childhood from his first time fishing with his father as a young. His passion for fishing and hunting led him to pursue a career in helping others create a lifetimes worth of memories and adventures in his own backyard here on the Crystal Coast.
