False Albacore are often considered to be a “trash fish“ or bycatch. More lovingly known as Albies; these little mercury missiles pack a serious punch! If and when you manage to hook up to an albie, you’d better be holding on!

We offer dedicated trips out to Cape Lookout and surrounds waters, chasing the albies and more importantly chasing the rush!

We specialize in catching albies on the fly and can provide all the necessary gear (although we encourage you to bring your own if you’ve got it!)

Too much wind? No interest in picking up a fly rod? Don’t worry we’ll catch ‘em on spinning gear too!

Prime season runs mid-September to mid-November with the occasional early Sept. or Late November runs. Such a short season fills up quickly so book with us soon!
